their stare stabbing me with  blades of contempt

Your whisper chanting a spell of surrender

A trance conjured to deliver me 

into a deep pit of sleep 

no means to escape the paralyzing delirium

Your breath warm heavy on my skin. 

It's fingers trickling over my body

In search of my soul to snatch away 

With the precision of a magician's hand.

You my perpetual sin immune to absolution

My ignored confession drowned  in a sea of voices  

By waves of prayers swimming in a crowded church

I despise this love inflicting such a pleasured anguish

This bond generating a dangerous voltage

The unbridled electricity in our passion 

Charged from a single spark
